Kate Adams started teaching creative dance classes for young children in Brighton in 2001. This soon became known as Magic Moves and has continued to grow and develop since then. Her unique style of teaching has drawn children and parents to her classes who were looking for something different and more accessible to young children who may not be ready for or suited to more formal and stylised dance classes.
Kate trained at London Contemporary Dance School and has been teaching dance for 20 years. She has also danced and choreographed for several dance groups including contemporary, West African and Samba based dance groups. She has two children of her own.
Kate also co-manages and teaches on the Uproar! Young Performers' Summer School which is held at Blatchington Mill School. (www.uproarbrighton.co.uk)
All Magic Moves teachers have had an enhanced CRB check and appropriate dance training.
