Summer Holiday Workshops 2017
Great fun had by all at these workshops where jwolves, superheroes, pirates, robots and aliens were making great dance stories. Some fantastic Indian/Bollywood moves were also seen.
Groovy Moves Film: Phoenix Dreams July 2017
Groovy Moves have made a film with the help of the wonderful Jane Cauldrey. We think it is wonderful.
TakePart Festival Launch June 17th 2017
Groovy Moves performed a fiery Phoenix Dance at TakePart Festival Launch and Magic Moves got fierce with their lion dance.
Half-Term Workshop June 2017
A colourful array of fish hats and jelly fish umbrellas were made for beautiful underwater dancing.
Easter Workshops 2017
Fierce dragons and daring knights were seen at one of the Make and Move workshops whilst cute little chicks and bunnies were bothered by naughty foxes at the other.
Carnival Fun at Half Term 2017
Carnival hats and flags were made for some colourful celebratory dancing at the half term Make and Move Workshop.
Dance Performance at the Brighton Centre 2016
Well done to all the Magic Moves and Groovy Moves dancers that took part in the performance at Dance Active on 4th December 2016. You looked fabulous and your spooky puppet and Spiderman dances were absolutely amazing!
Halloween & Day of the Dead Make & Move Workshops 2016
What a spooky time we had at these workshops. What wonderful props and accessories were made and everyone created some great Halloween and Day of the Dead Dances!

Uproar Summer School July 2016
A fantastic week of Rebellion themed dance drama, dance and singing culminating in a riotous performance. Well done everyone who came.
Easter Holiday Make & Move Workshops 2016:
Great fun was had making wings and masks and flower hats with much fluttering and growing in our Magical Gardens Workshop and then we roared and stamped the house down whilst flapping our big dragon wings at the Dragons, Knights and Princesses Workshop.
Crazy Weather Half Term Workshop 2016
Umbrellas, rain shakers and beautiful weather masks were made and much splashy, windy and generally crazy dancing was had.
Christmas Holiday Workshops 2015
Reindeers and Polar Bears and other wintery wonders were created through props and dance
Halloween Workshop Oct 2015
Lots of spooky masks, wands and broomsticks were made and then some terrifying dances were witnessed. Well done to everyone!

Uproar! Young Performers' Summer School 2014 Mon 28th July – Fri 1st August What a brilliant week! Well done to all those who took part. The resulting show entitled "Magic" at the end of the week was a great success and the 40 children performing in it were superb! Thank you to all the performers for all the work they put into the dancing singing and acting. Photos will soon be uploaded on the website. Well done to Magic Moves and Groovy Moves who performed Batman and Bugle Boy on the main dance stage and then the workshop stage at the Take Part Festival in Preston Park! You all looked fab!
What an amazing turn out and fantastic weather it was. Well done to Groovy Moves and all the other Elm Grove Primary School children who joined us looking fantastic (if a little gruesome) as Frankenstein's monster and his bride and kept dancing all the way!

UPROAR! Young performers Summer School, 23-27 July was a great success. There was a good turn out and the week ended with a fantastic show of dance, singing, acting, clowning and more performed by the participants. I am looking forward to the next one during the Easter Holidays.

GROOVY MOVES - RED CROSS FUNDRAISER 20th JUNE2011
Groovy Moves dancers premiered 3 short dance films which they choreographed, filmed and edited themselves. This was followed by a performance of their "Tsunami" dance. Donations were taken and cakes and popcorn sold. All in all £93 was raised. Well done and thank you for all your donations!
GROOVY MOVES - DANCE FOR LIFE, 18th JUNE 2011
The Groovy Moves Dancers took part in the Red Cross Dance for Life performance in Hastings with their dance about the Japanese Tsunami. They won the title of Junior Finalist and a commendation for "Best Use of Dance Theatre". Congratulations to all the Groovy Moves dancers who go to Crawley for the Area Final on 9th July!

Magic moves dancers dressed and danced like monkeys and were fantastic! The Groovy Moves dancers gave a very moving and heartfelt performance of their Haitian Earthquake Dance. Well done and thank you to all!

The Groovy Moves Dancers took part in the Red Cross Dance for Life performance on Worthing Pier 3rd July 2010. They received a commendation for "Good Interpretation and an Emotive Performance" for their dance about the Haitian Earthquake. Congratulations to all of you!
GROOVY MOVES - RED CROSS FUNDRAISER 28th JUNE 2010
The premiere showing of the short dance film made by Groovy Moves and a perview performance of their Haitian Earthquake Dance was an opportunity to raise money for The British Red Cross through selling cakes and popcorn. £55 was raised. Well done and thank you all!
PATCHFEST 11TH JULY 2009
Magic Moves performed their lion dance and Groovy Moves a very funky "Car Wash" dance. Both paraded with Elm Grove School Samba Band and despite the weather it was a great show. Many thanks to all who came and danced and supported the event.

Magic Moves and Groovy Moves lead the parade with Baroulio Samba Band wearing beautiful butterfly and flower costumes and waving flower flags. Well done to all who took part!

The Elm Grove School, Groovy Moves Dancers looked fantastic as they took part in an evening of dance, music and drama performances by 19 different schools and community groups from across the city. Well done to all of you!
DANCE FOR LIFE PERFORMANCE FRIDAY 7TH DECEMBER 2007
This performance was a great success. Magic Moves dancers (aged 2 - 6) started off the evening with their shaky streamer dance to latin grooves and were dressed beautifully in blue, white, silver and gold with fantastic homemade crowns. They were followed by a fantastic dance from Groovy Moves Dancers with both African and Brazillian influences.
